#9. The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello (2005)
Another Gothic style short, this time of the steampunk variety. The first episode, Jasper Morello and the Lost Airship, was nominated for an Academy Award, and the series captures a really unique look and feel by portraying all of the characters in silhouette. Although neither the director (Anthony Lucas) nor the writer (Mark Shireffs) have really made it big, you might recognize Jasper Morello’s voice as Tom Buchanan in the upcoming Great Gatsby movie.
